DTC Board Chairman : The DTC Board Chairman ensures effective running and focus of the DTC Board in order to promote excellence in governance and strategic direction setting for the DTC. The present DTC Board Chairman is Simon Jewell of BAE Systems.

Technical Director : The Technical Director ensures a consistent focus to the overall research programme of the DTC, acting as a conduit between all contributors for the debate on research direction, representing the customer's interests, focusing on exploitation and ensuring a clear technical direction. The present DTC Technical Director is Dr Bill Bardo.

Programme Manager : The work of the Programme Manager ensures smooth overall running and operational management of the DTC, focusing on the delivery of funded research projects, balanced with the need to maintain research quality. The Programme Manager also ensures visibility of key DTC data and metrics to customers and DTC partners. The Programme Manager is responsible to the Technical Director for the operational aspects of the DTC. The present DTC Programme Manager is Tim Doggart of BAE Systems.

Research Theme Leaders : The research themes lie at the heart of the DTC's strategy and constitute the core of DTC work. The Theme Leaders provide the driving force behind successful proposal, selection and execution of research work within each theme area, and play a key part in cross-theme integration. The research theme leaders come from BAE Systems, SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems, Rolls-Royce and Roke Manor Research.
