Q2: Can research proposals be made to the DTC at any time in the year ?

A2: Innovation Fund proposals will be received and assessed at any time in the year - see the Innovation Fund section for more details.

Main project proposals can be made at any time, but are only guaranteed to be assessed at the time of the annual call for proposals; it is also unlikely that funding will be available to start substantive projects other than after the call.

However, the DTC management team will always be happy to give advice on the likelihood of proposals in a particular research area being welcomed. For more details on making proposals, see our section on Proposing DTC Research.
